The Choirboys Bio

The "CHOIRBOYS" folk group is composed of three former boy sopranos of the world-famous Paulist Choristers of Chicago, which existed from 1904 to 1967. The choir's director, Father Eugene O'Malley and it's home-based church, Old St. Mary's in downtown Chicago, were both immortalized in the movies "Going My Way", and "The Bell's of St. Mary's" starring Bing Crosby. The "CHOIRBOYS" folk group has been performing since 1996. Tim Crossin plays both banjo and guitar and sings baritone. Greg Norusis plays guitar and sings the high harmony line, and Dave Hoffmann sings lead vocals. The "CHOIRBOYS" repertoire features folk and other music forms from the 50's, 60's, and 70's.

Dear ' Boys'

I just wanted you to know how much we enjoyed your music tonight. It really brought us back to the 'Good Old Days'. My wife said that this was the best concert she had been to since we have been going to the 'pub'! And we have been going for 25 years!!
Keep up the good old sounds and harmony!

Bob and Carole Kruse

We greatly enjoyed last night's performance in Sayner. Your music brought back many memoriesof high school and college and we found ourselves clapping hands, tapping toes, and singing our hearts out. Thank you so much for giving of your time and talents!
